Dr. Meri Rosco graduated from the University of Bridgeport Chiropractic College in 2011 after completing internships at the Bridgeport clinic and in a practice located in Danbury, CT. She is currently licensed in New York, North Carolina and Connecticut.
Dr. Rosco obtained her bachelor’s degree in pathobiology from the University of Connecticut in 2005. During her last two years at UConn, she worked for the Center of Excellence in Vaccine Research. After graduation, she worked for the Department of Homeland Security with a variety of infectious diseases.
After working with infectious diseases for over four years, developing diagnostic tests, engineering vaccines and creating disease prevention protocols, Dr. Rosco missed the human side of diagnosing and treating conditions. That led to the decision to attend chiropractic medical school in 2007. She graduated with high honors in 2011.
Dr. Rosco loves being active and eating a healthy diet. She truly practices what she “preaches.” Dr. Rosco has been practicing martial arts since 2002 and earned a black belt in Muay Thai in 2008. She has been teaching martial arts since 2007. Dr. Rosco became a L1 Crossfit coach in 2015 and has been coaching since November 2015. She has also been taking part in Ragnar Relays since 2012 and enjoys working with patients on their running technique. As an athlete herself, she has a great understanding of the movement patterns involved in sports and exercise. She knows the risk of injuries, the mechanisms of injuries as well as the proper treatment that will help one to gain the function needed to perform specific tasks and movements optimally.
Dr. Rosco is committed to providing the best evidence-based care for her patients. She strongly believes in integrative medicine and enjoys working with health care providers in all different fields so that she may give her patients nothing less than superior care.
